Carrot coconut smoothie (makes 2 cups or 500ml)

1 1/2 cups unsweetened almond milk

1 large orange, peeled and cut into chunks

1/2 banana

1 medium carrot, sliced

2 tbsp unsweetened coconut flakes

1 tbsp chia seeeds

1 tsp freshly grated turmeric

pinch of cinnamon, ground

pinch of cayenne

Place all the ingredients in a blender and process until smooth.  Sweeten to taste with agave syrup, stevia or maple syrup. Add 1/2 cup of ice to thicken if need be.
